Penetration Seal
Where cables and piping penetrate
fire barriers, they are generally required to be sealed with fire
resistant materials qualified to the same rating as the barrier.
There are literally thousands of tested configurations, each with
limitations as to size, penetrating objects, temperature, free area,
etc. CMA has worked on the following types of projects in
this area:

Walkdowns of existing and proposed installations.

Specification and
Design of typical seals for repair or replacement activities.

management of repair/ upgrade effort
New Carissa
CMA performed
technical rescue training for North Bend and Coos Bay fire
department's in Oregon December 14, 2001 in case of an emergency on
the New Carissa. The Fire tower on the Southwestern Oregon Community
college was the site used for raising and lowering people with
ropes.
